Today we will be talking about expert witness – information & stories on firing, particularly around discrimination.

Employees need to know their rights and what they are entitled to under the law, whether in regards to their work, leave benefits, or compensation. They need to know when their rights are or aren’t being violated.

Employers, on the other hand, have to make sure that their policies are current and aligned with the law. The policies must be enforced equally among all employees. If one person does something & has to be disciplined or terminated, then everybody else should be handled the same way.

If you pick out one person & give him a hard time, then it becomes problematic. He’ll come back, claim harassment or discrimination, and he may be able to make a case if there are other employees who have gone through a similar experience.

Tune in and hear the rest yourself.

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll learn:

    • (01:40) Types of discrimination
