Bombthreats. Workplace Violence. People using a conference room as a bedroom.

In HR, you see it all.

But one area of concern that Human Resources professionals have to deal with from time to time is employees who steal.

In this episode, we discuss employees stealing – how to spot it, what to do when it happens, and how to handle it.

We also discuss the story of a particular supervisor who was overseeing part time student workers in a workplace. The supervisor instructed the student workers to give him their password so he could have it when the student workers were not in the office.

After he gave him their passwords, he logged in and diverted small amounts of money into his personal account. Overtime, he embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars and had event purchased a house with the stolen money.

Regina was there when the FBI showed up to arrest this supervisor and take him away in handcuffs.
